DELIVERY

Our shipping and packaging charges are as follows:

Standard shipping: Most of the items we sell fall in to this category, £8.00 per consignment, delivery will take approximately 3 – 5 working days from date of order and a signature will be required on delivery.

Bulky shipping: For medium size items, £16.00 per consignment, delivery will take approximately 3 – 5 working days from date of order and a signature will be required on delivery.

Excess shipping: For large or unusual shaped items, £26.00 per consignment, delivery will take approximately  3 – 5 working days from date of order and signature will be required on delivery.

Specialist shipping: For larger or very fragile items, £50.00 per consignment or sometimes we have to obtain a quote for shipping. Delivery can be made by arrangement at a mutually convenient time for both parties. This service will result in the goods taking slightly longer to arrive than our other shipping rates.

There are no shipping charges for gift vouchers.

Where the shipping charge is greater than our standard shipping cost then this is noted in the product description for your information.

If no one is available to receive the delivery then a card will be left and you will be required to contact the shipping company to arrange re delivery.

When filling out the information required at checkout there is an option to nominate a safe place to leave the delivery, we then notify the shipping company of this information.

Scottish Highlands and Islands (AB30-AB38,  AB41-AB56, IV1-IV28, IV30-IV37, IV40-IV56, IV63, HS1-HS9, KA27, KA28, KW1-KW17, PA20-PA49,  PA60-PA78, PH15-PH26, PH30-PH44, PH49-PH50, ZE1-ZE3, FK19-FK21), N. Ireland, Eire, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands.

We are unable to deliver internationally.

RETURNS

We have every confidence in our products; however, if you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it to us at your cost within 14 days after receipt, in the same condition that it was delivered and packed in its original packaging, for a refund or replacement.

If the product is not in fully saleable condition we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.

All refunds exclude shipping costs unless we have made a mistake or the item is faulty.

In the event of goods arriving damaged or not as ordered, please inform us within 24 hours and we will be happy to replace them.

We regret that fresh material including flowers and plants and items specially made to order cannot be returned.

Sale items cannot be returned and will not be refunded unless they arrived damaged or not as ordered.

Please send all returns to the Alderley Edge address below via a trackable, insured service. We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit.

SMALL PRINT

All photographs and prices are guides. All prices are correct at the time of going to press, inclusive of VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to increase prices.

Every effort has been taken to ensure descriptions, photographic reproductions and specifications of products are correct at time of going to press. However, due to the hand finished nature of some items, natural variations in size and color may occur between actual goods and those pictured; uniformity cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to change the specification of products without prior notice.

The title of goods passes to the customer at the time of payment. Until such time, The Potting Shed retain full legal and equitable title to the goods.
